The makers
B&A Woodworks is Brian and Amiee Adams, a husband-and-wife shop in central Pennsylvania, and the two names behind the B and the A. Brian is the craftsman: from 2014 he was the senior maker behind Standout Designs’ media consoles, and when that company closed, he and Amiee started their own family shop to build a new, improved console. Amiee is his partner in it all: co-founder of the shop and Brian’s wife.
And they don’t do it alone: Sean has been part of the shop since the very beginning. Every piece is still made by hand, one at a time, in solid hardwood, never batched, never outsourced.
B&A builds for people who take their systems seriously. That means real ventilation and removable back panels instead of a sealed box, interior bays sized around actual amps, receivers, and turntables, and joinery meant to outlast the gear it holds.
Because each piece is made to order, it can be made to fit: your dimensions, your components, your finish. It’s custom woodworking, in concert with you.
