Brian Adams was the senior craftsman behind Standout Designs media consoles beginning in 2014. Standout Designs has since closed. Brian and Amiee Adams went on to found B&A Woodworks, a family woodworking shop in Tyrone, Pennsylvania, where Brian now builds his own updated solid-hardwood media console designs.
B&A Woodworks is a separate company. It is not Standout Designs, it did not acquire Standout Designs, and it does not own that brand. What carries over is the person doing the work and the way he builds: solid hardwood, real ventilation, removable back panels, room for actual audio equipment, and sizing built around the gear rather than around a shipping carton.

Who built Standout Designs media consoles?
Brian Adams was the senior craftsman on those consoles from 2014 until the business closed. If you own one, he is very likely the person who built it or who oversaw its build.
Is Standout Designs still in business?
No. Standout Designs has closed. B&A Woodworks cannot take orders on its behalf, honour its warranties, or access its records, because B&A is a different company and never held them.
What does Brian Adams build now?
Solid-hardwood media consoles, built to order in Tyrone, Pennsylvania, and shipped nationwide. The current lineup is the Majestic, Haven, Horizon, Pennington and Monarch, each offered in multiple widths, wood species and interior layouts. Brian also builds fully custom pieces when a standard configuration will not fit the room or the equipment.
Can B&A build a console similar in purpose to my old Standout console?
Yes. That is the most common reason former Standout customers get in touch. B&A cannot reproduce a Standout Designs product or use its designs, but it can build a new console that solves the same problem: enough depth for the components, real airflow, a back panel that comes off, room to run and reach cables, and a width sized to the equipment you actually own.

Can B&A repair or supply replacement parts for an existing Standout console?
B&A Woodworks does not service, repair or supply parts for Standout Designs products. Those were built by a different company, and B&A has neither its parts stock nor its specifications.
