Here is how your online order is processed. We are also happy to take your order by phone if you prefer to speak with a human. The same general process applies.
Buy a standard console directly from our online store, or request a quote for anything custom. No payment is taken at this step.
All furniture is built to order, so we review and confirm all order and delivery details with you before accepting your order. This is done by phone and/or email.
We collect a 50% deposit in order to proceed with your order.
After we receive your deposit, we commence crafting your furniture. Lead time from deposit to completion is usually 6 to 8 weeks.
When your furniture is ready, we collect the balance of your order.
We next ship your order via LTL freight truck in a custom crate for safe transit.
You will schedule your delivery with the LTL freight carrier. You need to be present to inspect, sign for, and accept delivery.
B&A Woodworks furniture ships via a national freight carrier to most addresses in the continental United States. Furniture prices include ground-level threshold ("first room") delivery by one driver via a lift-gate truck.
White-glove delivery (two people, uncrating, placement in the room of your choice, optional dunnage removal) is available to most addresses but must be quoted separately. The current price is $350. Be sure to tell us if you require internal or external stair carry.
Pickup from our shop (you must have moving blankets and a vehicle capable of fitting the furniture) or from your local freight terminal (you must have a vehicle capable of fitting the furniture crate) can typically also be arranged on request.
Home and business delivery is made during normal business hours, by appointment made directly with the carrier. You must be present to sign for and accept the delivery. Transit times vary by distance from our central Pennsylvania location and typically range between 2 and 8 business days.
All furniture is built upon order. Lead time to ship is typically 6 to 8 weeks from receipt of deposit but can be longer during peak periods, so please order accordingly. All furniture pieces ship assembled and crated for safe transport. Some aspects, like door glass and adjustable shelves, are customer-installed.
If a required delivery method is not available to your address, or the cost of the required delivery is not agreeable, we regrettably cannot proceed with the order. We also reserve the right to decline an order where factors such as remoteness make it cost-prohibitive for us to provide the included delivery.

B&A Woodworks, LLC provides the original purchaser of B&A Woodworks, LLC products with this Limited Warranty§ which applies only under conditions of normal, indoor, residential use.
B&A Woodworks, LLC products are warranted to be free from defects in workmanship, materials, and construction for one (1) year from receipt.
This warranty does not apply to minor size, shape, and color variations from piece to piece that can occur due to craftsmanship and the use of natural materials in B&A Woodworks, LLC products. This warranty does not apply to minor color variations between actual furniture pieces, color chip samples, and/or photographs (electronic or print). Wood furniture will have natural variation in grain and color, and inherent characteristics such as knots, mineral streaks, pitch pockets, and grain variation. These are not considered quality defects.
This warranty does not apply to B&A Woodworks, LLC products sold "as is" or purchased from a source other than B&A Woodworks, LLC or an authorized reseller. Any product modification voids this warranty. B&A Woodworks, LLC products are not warranted against normal wear and tear, damage resulting from improper use, accidents, abuse, neglect, or damage or appearance changes resulting from improper care or storage. This warranty does not apply to damage or appearance changes related to the expansion and contraction of wood due to extremes in humidity.
THE REMEDIES PROVIDED HERE ARE EXCLUSIVE AND TO THE EXTENT ALLOWED BY APPLICABLE LAW ARE IN LIEU OF ALL OTHER REMEDIES, WARRANTIES, OR REPRESENTATIONS, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED OR STATUTORY, INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO ANY IMPLIED WARRANTY OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND ALL OTHER OBLIGATIONS AND LIABILITIES, WHETHER IN CONTRACT OR IN TORT, ALL OF WHICH ARE EXPRESSLY DISCLAIMED HERE. IN NO EVENT SHALL B&A WOODWORKS, LLC BE LIABLE FOR SPECIAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL OR OTHER DAMAGES.
This warranty is valid only in the continental United States, excluding Alaska and Hawaii.
This warranty gives you specific legal rights and you may also have other rights which vary from state to state. Some states do not allow the exclusions and limitations on incidental and consequential damages or the limitations on implied warranties, so the described limitations may not apply to you. However, proper care and use are essential for preserving your rights under this warranty. For complete use and care instructions, please contact us and we will send them to you.
Provide your dated sales receipt to initiate your warranty claim, and, if possible, proof of delivery date as well. The sole remedy provided by B&A Woodworks, LLC under this warranty will be to repair or replace the defective part or product or to issue a refund of the price paid. B&A Woodworks, LLC reserves the right to decide the appropriate remedy. If we decide to replace the defective item, only the defective item will be replaced. If we decide to replace a product we no longer sell, we will replace it with a comparable product. Refunds, if any, will be adjusted for the product's use and age. If your product is repaired or replaced, the limited warranty will not be renewed or extended. Should you have any questions or concerns, please contact us.
§Products of other companies purchased through B&A Woodworks, LLC are covered by the manufacturer's warranty, if any.
We guarantee our prices on standard products for 12 months. If you see a lower price on the same standard item within 12 months of ordering, we will refund the difference.
This applies to our standard designs as listed, not to modified versions or entirely custom pieces.
We do not typically run sales. As a small, family-owned woodworking shop, we build each piece to order. Our prices reflect the real cost of quality materials, time, and care, not inflated markups just to routinely discount later.
We are always happy to customize a standard piece or collaborate on something completely unique. These are individually quoted and not included in the price guarantee due to their one-of-a-kind nature.
